How to order your adjustable orthotics…
I need two thick paper patterns to make your orthotics. One insert pattern and one foot pattern.
*** Important note: You’ll need to send me your patterns SOON and really READ the simple instructions well. I’ve had some bad experiences with procrastinators that took forever to send in the patterns or can’t read and follow instructions well. I should have the correct patterns within 10 days. Thanks for understanding!
First pattern: The easiest way to create a pattern is to use one of your shoe’s inserts to draw around on a piece of heavy gauge paper. (Do not use regular paper. The type used for cereal boxes is perfect.) First take the insert out of a shoe that you want me to make the orthotics for.
(If you cannot remove the insert then use a pair of shoes that does have a removable insert OR simply hand cut/create a pattern by: 1. Putting the shoe on a piece of paper. 2. Draw around it. 3. Cut it out. 4. Gradually cut down the paper until it fits in the shoe well from edge to edge.)
Please note: The shoes you use need to be able to open up and have plenty of room in them. Laces or buckles work great but slip-ons, like boots do not work well because they don’t allow any extra room for the adjustable orthotics.
Place the shoe’s insert on a piece of paper and draw around it making a perfect pattern. Then cut the pattern out and make sure it fits into the shoe really well. If it doesn’t, then trim around the outside and get it to fit perfectly! The pattern needs to be able to sit fairly flat when pushed down in the shoe. I want your orthotics to be just the right size!
Sandals: If you have sandals, you’ll have to make a pattern from scratch because sandals don’t have a shoe insert. Gradually cut down a piece of paper until it fits perfectly. (Be sure to let me know if you are using the orthotics for sandals (using the option provided above) so that I can add some Velcro to the bottoms. Velcro prevents them from moving around.)
Second pattern: Put one foot right on a piece of heavy paper and draw tightly around it so that I can tell where the balls and heel start and end.
Your TWO patterns should look like THIS:
This is what you send to me. One pattern of each – the insert from your shoe and the tracing of your foot. Write your name, phone # and address on each one.
Now send me your patterns: I’m no longer accepting scanned patterns by email. My address is Brett Rodgers 850 Upper Browns Creek Rd. Burnsville, NC. 28714.

My orthotics story: Many years ago I went to a podiatrist to help me with my aching feet. He recommended orthotics. After casting my feet he created a pair of plastic, rigid orthotics. After I wore them for a few hours my feet began to ache! These hard plastic orthotics were just not natural…just not comfortable and definitely not adjustable. He tried to adjust them by shaving them down to no avail… $180 (not affordable either!) out the door and I still had sore feet! This was ten years ago! Now the chiropractors, podiatrists and doctors are getting $300-$400 for a pair of non-adjustable, plastic or foam (petroleum) orthotics.
Over the last seven years I have invented & developed the most wonderful, CUSTOM, AFFORDABLE, NATURAL, adjustable orthotics right here in Asheville, NC. I am very excited to offer them to you! These orthotics are all natural, conform perfectly to your feet and unlike plastic or foam orthotics, they’re adjustable to whatever amount of arch support that you need. (That amount of support changes constantly just like the seasons, because of course, you and your feet are also natural.) My Asheville orthotics are made out of comfortable latex rubber and utilize a natural support mechanism (millet hulls) for your arch that can be changed as your feet adjust to the increased need for tension. That is the key to their success! Building more and more support over time makes your feet and leg muscles stronger! It also changes your posture for the better! Obviously these changes need to be gradual! With my adjustable, natural, comfortable orthotics you can start out with just a small amount of support and work your way up. These comfortable orthotics are so adjustable that you can add one teaspoon of millet hulls at a time and you will actually be able to feel the difference too!
I have spent a long time perfecting these custom adjustable orthotics so that they are durable, comfortable, and all natural (healthy). I’ve probably made 100 orthotics prototypes over the last six years! Remember that the natural is always better when it’s used properly. I’m sure you’ll love my orthotics and will buy more in the future and recommend them to your friends and family. Happy walking & running!
“Hey Brett, Thanks for sending the millet husks for my adjustable orthotics…they are so comfortable and supportive and I wear them everyday. Thanks again! Glenn Barclay”
“I’m very happy with them! Especially the toe stimulation…my feet feel so alive at the end of the day when I take off my shoes. Great job! David”
“Thank you for the adjustable orthotics–I have been using them in my house shoes (I wear shoes inside because of my lift) and I’ve really enjoyed feeling the support. I also love that I don’t have to wear socks! Awesome. A”
“About 2 weeks later my brother decided to purchase your insoles for a new pair of shoes that were irritating him. He had just spent $150 on these shoes and the support was tearing up his feet at work. After putting in your adjustable orthotics he said he was pleasantly surprised. Your support was thinner than his previous insert and offered more support and comfort after a long day at the restaurant. He sends his many thanks!! Your friends in Alaska, Jene and Travis”
